Thank You! 2007 was a record breaker for our tours, having served 1225 of the finest baseball fans in the world. I appreciate your continued loyalty and will work hard to keep it.
The Washington Nationals will open the only new park in the Major League this year. Nationals Park will be located in Southwest Washington DC, south of the Capitol and along the Anacostia River. The 41,222-seat ballpark’s orientation will afford wonderful views of the Capitol, Washington Monument and Washington, DC.
Two ballparks will be in their final year of use: Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium. If you haven’t seen these parks, make it a priority to attend a game at these soon-to-be-gone venues, especially historic Yankee Stadium.
For the fourth consecutive year, ML Baseball broke its attendance record with 79,502,524 watching games in 2007. That’s a 4.6% increase over 2006. Eight teams set franchise records, including the Detroit Tigers, who drew more than three million fans for the first time in the team’s 107year history.
See you at the ballpark,
